Valley Mechanical & Engineering (VME) is a family-run, 100% Indigenous-owned and operated drill maintenance business based in Western Australia, providing support to drilling and mining operations across Australia. Since 2021, we’ve built a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance, breakdown support, and field service solutions to blast hole, production, and exploration drilling fleets.
With a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and keeping equipment productive, VME works alongside drilling contractors and mining companies nationwide to minimise downtime and keep operations moving — scheduled maintenance, emergency breakdowns, labour hire, or technical support, wherever our clients need us.

We recognise the growing shortage of skilled tradespeople in the mining and drilling industry — so we’re doing something about it. Through our own apprenticeship and trade-upgrade programs, we develop and mentor the next generation of drill fitters and heavy diesel mechanics, bringing new talent into the industry while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.
